With today's economy, you are probably considering how to expand your marketability, increase your job security, or make more money. One way to do this is to get a CNA license. You will provide bedside care, including feeding, bed-making, dressing, and more. Training requirements vary by state, but to get your CNA license in 6 weeks, you will take a course and then pass a state licensing exam. Some states may require as little as two weeks of training, which other might require up to 75 hours of training in basic health care, law, and ethics. Common training areas include communication, how to properly document patient care, safely moving patients, measuring vital signs, and introductory anatomy and physiology. Once you complete the training, you can become certified by pass the licensing exam. The exam will test your knowledge of how to assist patients with their ADLs (activities of daily living).
